A beautiful morning spent with this sweet family in Newton. Documenting little kids running around and doing their thing is THE best!
I photographed two amazing brides at Elm Bank in Wellesley two summers ago. It was a pleasure to return with them and their adorable twins to capture this beautiful family as they grow.
This is one of my favorite family sessions as a Boston candid family photographer. So casual, low-key, and nothing but sweet memories of everyday life. We started at home in the living room, then went to the backyard for some bubbles fun, and then headed over to the family’s favorite park to have some more fun!
This was my first time doing Mother’s Day (dads welcome!) mini sessions at the Boston Public Garden. Two Saturdays in a row, the weather was just perfect and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom! I worked with many new families, some returning families – it was so much fun being out and about and documenting some precious moments.
After the sessions, my girls met me at the park (as it’s our usual hangout) and we just continued enjoying the rest of our weekend!
Sharing a few of my favorites!
I met Anne and the kids this spring to document a fun and casual morning walking around the beautiful Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge. Anne’s husband was at work, but she wanted to document her time with the kids so she could be in the pictures with them as she is otherwise always behind the camera (story of our lives!). Also, the family will be moving back to Paris, where they are originally from in a couple years, so these photos were important to preserve their Boston memories. We talked (I practiced some French pronunciations), walked and enjoyed the most spectacular landscape and Boston skyline views.
I absolutely love the simplicity of such casual family sessions, and even if you wake me up in the middle of the night and ask me to photograph a candid family session, I will say oui!

A beautiful spring (almost summer!) morning with the Liu family at my favorite Boston Public Garden! The smiles, the laughs, the walk, the dance, the ducks – what’s not to love!

It was a beautful spring morning at the Boston Public Garden, and photographing natural, candid moments of this family and the most adorable twins was a lot of fun!
Shot this newborn lifestyle session in the South End when baby Jade was around 2 weeks old! Such a sweet little nugget!
Photographed little baby Lola and her family in their new house in Melrose back in fall. Nothing but sweet love and their everyday moments.
It was such a pleasure documenting Penelope and Calvin in their beautiful South Boston home. And this shoot was extra special and the last hurrah of sorts because a week after this shoot, they bought their one way ticket and moved from Boston to Chicago, their parents’ hometown. Both kids were born in this house and every little detail was designed and cherry-picked by their amazing mom Sara of Gild & Wit (who also happened to be my studio mate).
I enjoyed photographing these lovely kids so much and loved it when Penelope wanted to say something to me and went “excuse me, what’s your name again?” And, of course, you don’t want to miss the most intense chess battle!
